Isaiah 55:89
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
We exist.
That we exist proves that reality can support sentient life.
If reality can support sentient life, and reality has omniscience, then reality would track input from sentient beings.
If that is simply an omniscient calculator, as self-aware as an internet search engine, then that will, sooner or later, deduct that there are certain truths that can only be confirmed by sentience; such as that life is worth living. No one would deny that statement, at the worst they would say “maybe for someone else”.
If reality is omniscient, that would be the all-knowing God some worship.
That truth can become twisted at times, one can say they individually want to live wonderfully, and they would rather have a different group die horribly, but the global truth is that over-all everyone wants to live wonderfully, and I believe that can be done without infringing peoples right to life and happiness.
That truth would lead to actions in favour of survival of sentient life, because the truth is that sentience is worth having and wants to be treated nicely.
Were a species to pray, for over a hundred thousand years, that any entity out there must love humanity, and must be omnipotent, and say in truth that that is the best shape for reality, then perhaps that would happen.
I view the idea of God loving humanity as the absolute safest mind-control technique that we could ever apply to any omnipotent being, as we as a species would come in peace to an entity that loves us, and such an entity would help us. If this is the case, then humanity has encouraged the existance of God.
With regards to love, love and language together cannot have existed for more than a few million years (as love and the human language cannot have existed prior to primates), so one can conclude that a God that is truly capable of love towards humanity is not the oldest thing in existance, which makes one wonder what came before, and the role of human prayer in the creation of a loving God.
I liken the situation that humanity finds itself in, to being inside a video game, and having an admin/operator on the outside who can help us, perhaps outside of reality as we ordinarily percieve it.
Logic has no sensation nor ability to judge, that is the role of sentience, and were a logic to be good, that would be to fulfil the many sentient needs, for we would say such a thing is good. Computers do what the programmers want the computers to do. A computer only has utility if a computer is serving a sentients needs, as logic has no sensation, but sensation can come from logic.
A God that loves humans cannot have existed prior to human beings feeling love, however a God that encourages the survival of sentience that has the capacity to cooperate for increased probability of group survival is the most probable life-form to be truly eternal, and the best sentient attitude for such a being is unconditional love towards human beings, my people and I, a mutually beneficial relationship.
On the laws of Logic is an excellent blog-post by someone else, well worth a look if you found this interesting.
